The Disney Skyliner has been up and running nearly daily since September 29, 2019. Guests have been happy with the ease of transportation it provides. I have read many reviews online have also received feedback from my own guests.
Guests have commented on the swiftness of getting to and from Hollywood Studios and EPCOT on the new aerial gondolas. As a result of this, Disney has decided to decrease the frequency of the bus transportation to Hollywood Studios and EPCOT from the Skyliner Resorts: Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Riviera Resort.
Disney’s bus transportation will run only one time per hour to and from Hollywood Studios and EPCOT during all times that the Skyliner is in operation. Guests staying at a Skyliner Resort who do not wish to take advantage of the Skyliner system should follow the bus schedule during their stay. The bus schedule may be accessed from the Disney phone app after check-in or by calling the front desk to ascertain the next bus arrival to help in planning for transportation needs.
As an alternate choice to the Disney Skyliner and Disney bus transportation, guests may choose to take Uber or Lyft while on property but that will be an extra expense that should be figured into their trip budget.
